After using multiple large and small businesses for my various vehicle needs I find this CO.Tire & Service shop the highest quality of products and service for reasonable & fair cost. I just stopped in to ask if they would install a battery I bought at Costco. The front office person was gracious and helpful - and the mechanic who switched in the new battery was efficient, friendly, and prompt. And did not charge for the service, no matter how much I insisted. This place is under new management and so close to my home that I can walk from and back to service appointments. They service and repair all makes of vehicles except for all-electric. I've been looking for a local mechanic for a long time and plan to use them for servicing my two Toyotas now that both are off warranty. Far less expensive and more convenient than the dealer. ~ Diane G

Brought my '92 Volvo V70 with 210k+ miles in for a couple of new tires. I was on a budget, and these guys understood. Didn't try to up sell me anything I didn't need, which I always appreciate. Ended up needing some more pressing work done (ball joint/control arm and radiator repair), and they quoted me fair prices (radiator quote was a tad high, but that's no big deal). Ed was straight with me and told me I shouldn't dump too much money into an old car. Again, I appreciated the honesty. I just needed to get the thing back home to CA safely. Overall, quality work, good advice, trustworthy dudes. Kept my car going and was able to get it back to California in one piece. Thanks guys. ~ Matt D

I've known this tire shop for years as Roadmaster tires. They've always been superior to any of the other6 or so tire shops I've used over the last few decades. New owners in Jan 2025 are keeping up the highest quality standards. Easy to work with. A no BS operation. Recently brought in a tire with slow leak - they spotted dangerous de-lamination - but was happy to replace with a tire I had saved that had same tread depth left, rather than try to sell me 4 new tires (as I've had other shops try to do). To top that, they mounted my tire, balanced it, walked it some distance to my car and did not charge me. This my go to tire shop. It should be yours too ~ Steven W

I called about a flat tire on my Volkswagen Beetle and spoke with Christopher, he said I could bring it right in and they would help me out. Keep in mind that it was close to 4 pm. I was greeted with a smile and to my amazement Christopher remembered my name! They took a look at the tire and said they were able to patch it up. In passing I mentioned something about the antifreeze reservoir and a possible slow leak that could be looked into at another time. He had the team in the back look at it and they even filled it up for me, all of this at NO CHARGE! I will definitely be using them for all my car needs in the future. I honestly can not say enough good things about this shop and the manager, Steve. I have a certified rustbucket that spent the majority of it's life in Buffalo, NY and it can be a major challenge to work on. Whenever these guys run into issues dealing with that rust, they are always willing to work with me to keep the costs down. And on top of that, if I have questions about the repairs, they are always more than happy to discuss them with me and help me understand what needs to be done and why. If you value trust and communication in an auto shop, this is the place for you. As long as I live in Boulder, I'm getting all of my auto-work done at Roadmasters. ~ Andrew T

This place is awesome. They always take the time to explain what repairs they're doing and help prioritize what needs to be done first if you're unable to afford them all at once. As someone with an older car on a budget, I really appreciate this! The employees also go above and beyond. I live close by and one time had an issue with my car at home that did not repeat itself when I took it in. Not only did they run free tests on my car all day, but they offered to come to my home and look at my car if the issue happened again. I've been taking my car here for a few years now and will continue to do so as long as I live in Boulder! ~ Haley R

I ordered my tires during Goodyears Black Friday sale using the websites tire sizing guide based on my vehicle make & model - the tires that were delivered to Roadmasters did not fit my vehicle. They were extremely helpful in issuing a refund & helping set me up with a new pair of tires (& better ones at that). Since my original order included the installation cost Matt honored that even though it meant covering his shops labor cost. What an awesome repair shop! The highlight of our experience was the wonderful person named Jessi at the front desk who was incredibly helpful and very knowledgeable. They are lucky to have someone like her. She worked very well with Christian while we were there for our two . Her vast car knowledge was surprising, but her sales experience and talent was also refreshing. She made it possible for us to get things done. We highly recommend this place. Customer service was excellent. I needed a brake job asap and they got me in very quick. I dropped it off at 8:00 a.m. and it was done before 11:30 a.m. They also found out I needed wheel bearings (which I already knew) and worked with me on price to get them done as well without charging me additional labor. Overall, I would definitely recommend them to anyone needing quick brake/tire related services. A lot of automotive shops can be deceitful or sketchy, but I did not feel that way with this shop at all. ~ Austin W

I had a serious suspension problem with my Jeep and heard from a coworker that Roadmasters had treated her well. I usually don't hear that about auto repair shops from women, so when my Jeep needed some suspension work done, I decided to give them a try. I explained what was happening with the suspension and an electrical issue I was having. I set an appoint for later in the week and dropped it off first thing in the morning. I received a call later in the morning explaining what they had done and what they still needed to do. I was offered a couple of choices for parts (lower cost/lower quality or higher cost/higher quality) and an explanation as to what they recommend when I told him that I want to keep the car for a long time. The price they quoted was the price I ended up paying, no hidden costs or pressure to do additional work. They also managed to get the repairs done by the end of the day and I was able to drive it home that evening. Bottom line, the work they did was excellent and I felt like a valued customer. ~ Scott B

My interior rearview mirror suddenly fell off while I was driving home. I stopped by this neighborhood shop to see if they could help. Jessie came out, took a look, and after a several minutes was able to attach it back temporarily so I could safely drive home. I really appreciated the quick assistance and willingness to help with such a small issue. It’s great to have a neighborhood shop with people who are kind, responsive, and ready to lend a hand. I drove into America’s Auto & Tire of Boulder with a tire at 16 pounds of pressure 45 minutes before closing. I was greeted by two workers who were very friendly, welcoming and customer focused. They immediately assessed the issue and assured me that I would be back on the road in a short time. In half an hour my tire was completely repaired and I was able to return home without having to leave my car overnight. I would recommend this company to everyone. ~ Thomas C

While I was at a nearby coffee shop, a friend pointed out that one of my tires looked dangerously low. I walked across the parking lot and asked if Roadmasters could look at it. They said they could look and hopefully get it back to me in 2 to 3 hours. They had it fixed within 30 minutes, and sent me on my way! I was very impressed with the kindness, professionalism, conscientiousness, and speed with which they helped me when I just walked in with an immediate issue. ~ Tiffany G

I ran over debris on the highway on my way to an event and ended up damaging the sidewall of one tire. I drove into Americas Auto and Tire totally expecting to miss the event. But Chris and his colleagues were able to immediately find the problem, order new tires and put on my spare. I was on my way within 30 minutes. I typically have my car serviced at a shop that specializes in hybrids; they do most of my maintenance and repairs. But for the occasional, emergency nail-in-the-tire or slow leaks, Auto & Tire in S. Boulder are amazing!! The guys there are professional, cheerful and always willing to try to get you in ASAP. Their prices are reasonable, the work is reliable, and they’ve never let me down. I won't take my car anywhere else! I've been in twice and both times the service was outstanding. They called every step of the way to keep me posted on repairs, listened to my sense of urgency and worked extra time to get my car done, and even went above and beyond to do the little things like decode my radio and sign me up for a roadside service that helped me get some of what I paid for in repairs back! I'd come to Roadmasters even if it weren't my neighborhood mechanic because Steve and his team treat you like neighbors. The service is prompt and professional, but what really keeps me happy is how they don't try to baffle and upsell. I had a messed up alignment so I brought it to Roadmasters; the problems with my steering rack were carefully explained, my options weighed, and when I did the job myself, they applauded my work and carried over my previous alignment cost because "it's the right thing to do." After numerous flat patches (who is scattering nails over our roads?!?!), I trust Steve to tell me when it'll be a quick patch and when I've got to replace the tire - he usually patches me up and I'm good until another tire catches a nail... I bet they've saved at least a full set of tires for me over the years. Roadmasters is run by decent humans - they're closed on weekends so their staff can have a life! - and the concern and compassion for others is readily apparent at this South Boulder auto shop; I'll keep depending on Roadmasters for years to come! ~ srivers

After getting my oil changed at Roadmasters, I noticed that my car was leaking oil in my garage. I brought my car back in and Nick informed me that my oil plug gasket had cracked, and they changed it out to fix the problem. On top of that, he's compensating me with a free oil change. He also went further and gave me some absorbent materials to clean up the mess at home. I really appreciate how this shop went the extra mile to turn a bad situation into one that is much less painful. ~ Scott P

I've had two of the best experiences with the team at Colorado Tire and Service. Both times, I had a nail in my tire. The first time they were able to patch it. The second, I had to get a new tire. Not only did they get me in same day, but Jessi drove to another shop to get me a new tire and get me my car back in a few hours. They're professional, friendly, and helpful! Had a good experience here! Came in for new tires, but while installing new tires they discovered the bearing in my front left wheel was in really bad shape. Wound up spending much more than I intended, but they went out of their way to give me discounts and rebates to bring the price down. They even fixed my exhaust leak for no charge. Everything was done very timely, and they communicated with me through the whole process. ~ Whitney M

I was traveling out of state, looking for a place to have the car fluids and tires checked. I was having difficulty locating a business willing to check the car without any other services. Without charge, Steve came to the rescue. I have a new car and he showed me where the fluid checks are located and did a thorough check of the car. I got a flat tire today just as I arrived at my dog's oncologist's office. We live in Fort Collins, so I was very worried about how I'd get back home. The vet staff recommended these guys and they sent a tech over who determined it could be repaired. She added air, drove it to their garage, patched the tire, and brought it back to me. And then didn't charge me anything! They were a godsend, and I highly recommend them. ~ Kris C
